blogggg:)
We have been reading this graphic novel Persepolis. It is a really great book, it has everything that a reader needs. It is really easy to relate to because even though it is about a girl's life, it still shows conflicts with parents and stuff like that. It's very interesting and keeps me entertained the entire time I'm reading it.

biggity bloggin
Last week, Max Kelley, Aly Wolff, Michael Dolan, and I made a video about the play "Fences". It was a really fun project to do and I think it came out pretty well. When we started out, we never really figured we would finish it, but after two hours of filming we finally got about 9 minutes of film that we could show. I believe the songs we chose really worked well with the scene's we did. For a little extra credit, Max Kelley and I did a rap. It didn't really turn out very well because the music was louder than our voices. I hope when Kunkle puts headphones on, it will work.

Tropic Thundaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
The movie I chose to BLOG about is Tropic Thunder. It takes a less serious look at war and spices it up with comedy. They are working on shooting the most expensive war movie ever. They try to make it as real as they could make it, but all of a sudden, the camera guy dies and then they find themselves in a real life war. They don't know its real, they just think its all actors and special affects. The film makers are trying to say that war is unexpected and you have to be ready to fight no matter what. A similaratary of this movie to slaughterhouse five is that one of the actors becomes a POW just like Billy. Mary O'Hare would not like this movie because it kind of mocks war and she has lived through it and she would feel bad.

time where I wasn't a loner..
A time where I felt like I was a part of something was my Junior year Basketball season. We were all so close and all got a long. Even though I rarely played, I really felt like I was apart of the team. We would have team building days and team sleepovers. It was the best team I have ever been apart of.

true west blog!
True West is a play we are watching this week in class. It is a very good story, but the drunk brother is really getting to annoy me. It's like get a life man and stop bringing down your brother with you. His brother is an aspiring screen writer but the drunk is trying to steal his thunder. The drunk beat the producer in a bet so the producer threw out the project the one brother has been working on for the drunks play. It made me so mad! I hope that the drunk doesn't get too ahead of himself and think he is going to make it. I'm excited to watch the end of this play.
